Soften 1 cake yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Scald 1 c. milk, and when cooled to lukewarm, add to yeast with 1/3 cup water.
Add 1 tsp salt, 2 well-beaten eggs, 1/cup melted butter.
Add 5 to 5 1/2 cups flour to make a stiff dough.
Knead for two minutes, then place in a greased bowl and cover.
Allow to rise in a warm place for 2 hours or until dough is doubled in bulk.
Shape into rolls, allow to rise again until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
